The Role of Church Councils
Listen, My people: I’ve established a system to maintain order and resolve issues in My church. This system will ensure fairness, accountability, and unity among you. The high council is a key part of this work.

How the High Council Is Organized

  • The high council consists of twelve members, led by the First Presidency.
  • Their purpose is to handle important decisions and address challenges in the church with wisdom and humility.
  • When disputes arise, they will hear both sides, seek My guidance, and act with fairness.

Conducting Councils with Integrity

  • Decisions must be made with prayer, seeking the influence of My Spirit.
  • Council members are to act in righteousness, free from personal bias or pride.
  • If any council member is involved in the matter being discussed, they must step aside to ensure impartiality.

Resolving Issues in My Way
This process is not about power—it’s about building My kingdom and preserving unity. Every decision made by the high council must align with My teachings and commandments.

A Spirit of Peace and Justice
If you follow these principles, the high council will bring peace and order to My church. Trust this system, and I’ll guide your leaders as they work to protect and strengthen My people.
