To My people in Ohio: I’m pleased you’ve gathered as I’ve commanded. Now, it’s time to set things in order. Follow My word and keep My commandments, and I’ll bless you with My Spirit.
Joseph Is My Prophet
Joseph Smith is the one I’ve chosen to lead this church. Listen to him, because through him I’ll give you My instructions and guidance. He is My mouthpiece for this work.
A New Bishop
I’m calling Edward Partridge to be a bishop. He is a man of pure heart, and I trust him to help oversee My work. He’ll care for the church and manage its resources in a way that’s fair and faithful.
Stay Humble and United
Be obedient and work together in harmony. If you do, My Spirit will dwell with you, and I’ll guide you to build My kingdom here on earth.
