Listen closely: Jackson County, Missouri, is the place I’ve chosen to build Zion. The city of Zion will rise here, and the center of this work will be in Independence. This is the land I’ve prepared for My people.
Your Next Steps
- Edward Partridge: You’re to oversee the land and organize it wisely. Help My people settle here, and manage the resources fairly, following My commandments.
- William W. Phelps: Set up a printing press. You’ll use it to publish My word and spread My gospel to the world.
- Others Called: All of you have roles to play. Work together to prepare the land and build Zion, step by step.
Be Faithful in the Work
This is the start of something great, but it won’t be easy. There will be challenges, but if you stay united, humble, and obedient, I’ll bless you. My Spirit will guide you as you lay the foundation for Zion.
Trust in My Plan
This is My work, and I’ll make sure it succeeds. Follow My instructions, and you’ll help establish a place of peace, safety, and righteousness where My people can gather and prepare for My coming.
