John Whitmer, I’m calling you to accompany Oliver Cowdery as he delivers the church’s revelations and records to Missouri. This is an important mission—go with faith and diligence.
Your Responsibility
You’ve been called as the church historian. Keep a careful record of everything significant happening in My church. Write down the history of My people so future generations can know the truth of what I’ve done.
Support One Another
Work together with Oliver to accomplish this mission. I’ve called both of you, and I’ll guide and protect you as you travel. Trust in My Spirit, and you’ll have success.
