Responsibilities of Bishops
Listen, My people: I’ve called bishops in My church to care for both spiritual and temporal needs. They are stewards over the church’s resources, and they will help ensure fairness and provide for those in need.

Edward Partridge’s Role
Edward Partridge is the first bishop, and I’ve called him to oversee the law of consecration in Zion. He will help manage the resources of My people and ensure that everyone’s needs are met according to My commandments.

Other Bishops Called
As My church grows, I’ll call other bishops to serve where they’re needed. Each one will act as a steward in their area, accountable to Me for how they care for My people and the resources entrusted to them.

A Law of Accountability

  • Everyone who receives from the church is accountable for their stewardship. Use what you’ve been given wisely, and report back on how you’ve fulfilled your responsibilities.
  • Bishops will also give an account of their service to Me. If they act faithfully, they will be blessed; if they fail, they will be held accountable.

Prepare for Zion
These instructions are part of preparing for Zion. Be diligent, humble, and obedient. Work together to build My kingdom, and I’ll guide you every step of the way.

My Blessings Are for the Faithful
If you live by My commandments, I’ll bless you with peace, prosperity, and joy. My Spirit will guide you as you help build Zion and prepare for My return.
