Care for Families
Listen, My people: families are sacred, and you have a responsibility to care for one another. Wives, children, and those in need must be provided for, especially when they’re unable to care for themselves.

Rights of Women and Children

  • Wives have a right to support from their husbands, both spiritually and temporally, as long as the covenant of marriage is honored.
  • Children have a right to be cared for by their parents, to be loved, and to receive what they need to grow and thrive.

Support Through the Church
If families are unable to provide for their own, the church must step in. That’s why I’ve established My law of consecration—to ensure that no one is left in need. The storehouse is there to bless those who require assistance.

Live with Compassion
Be generous and kind to one another. Care for the poor, the widow, and the orphan, and I’ll bless you for your service. Unity and love among My people will prepare you to build Zion.

A Promise of Blessings
If you live by My commandments and care for each other, I’ll bless you with peace, abundance, and joy. My Spirit will guide and strengthen you as you walk in My ways.
