The Oath and Covenant of the Priesthood
Listen, My people: the priesthood is My power and authority given to you to bless and lead My church. Those who are faithful to their priesthood covenants will receive My greatest blessings, including eternal life.
The Roles of the Priesthood
- Aaronic Priesthood: This prepares My people for greater blessings. It holds the keys of repentance, baptism, and ministering the outward ordinances of My gospel.
- Melchizedek Priesthood: This holds the fullness of My authority, including the power to lead My church and administer spiritual blessings. Through it, My people can receive eternal life.
The Covenant
- Those who receive and honor the priesthood receive Me, and in turn, they receive My Father.
- If you keep your covenants, I promise to bless you with all that I have. But if you break your covenants, you’ll lose the blessings I’ve offered.
The Call to Preach My Gospel
Go into the world and teach repentance. Call people to come to Me, be baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. My priesthood holders are responsible for carrying My message to every nation.
The Power of My Word
When you teach by My Spirit, your words carry My power. Those who hear and believe will be blessed. My gospel is the key to salvation, and it must be shared with everyone.
Warnings and Promises
- To those who reject My gospel: My judgments will come upon you, for you’ve turned away from the truth.
- To the faithful: I promise you peace, joy, and eternal blessings. If you walk in My ways, you’ll inherit My kingdom.
Build Zion
The time is now to prepare for My coming. Be united, follow My commandments, and build Zion—a place of peace and righteousness. If you do, My Spirit will guide you, and you’ll be ready when I return.
